The pathway is uneven, raised drain cover, and area floods during wet weather causing pedestrians including school children onto the road

Reported via desktop in the Footway surface problem category anonymously at 09:01, Tue 17 October 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14124772.

The pathway is uneven, raised drain cover, and area floods during wet weather causing pedestrians including school children onto the road. This is a concern with how busy the road is and the heavy goods vehicles that travel it.

  • During the wet weather the Kerry side of the pavement and road floods to the point in which when cars traveling through the water, the splashes reaches approx 5-6ft into the air. The adjacent side also has pooling water leaving no safe passage for pedestrians walking and are most likely to get drenched if traffic is approaching from both sides as car have no option but to pass through. The effected area stretches the breadth of the Kerry factory.
