Loose bricks

This junction has had the tiles replaced four times in the last two years. The tiles are loose and uneven. The tarmac has a gap and will be worse when we have icy weather. The junction at Belle Vue road end of Belle Vue Gardens is the same, very uneven and dangerous when crossing as a pedestrian. Why do you keep replacing the bricks when they are obviously not fit for purpose? Would not tarmac be the best solution?????

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
