Cycling on Hospital Walk
Reported via desktop in the Other Highways issue category anonymously at 20:03, Sun 24 September 2023
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14123192.
Pedestrian access is required on Hospital Walk yet cyclists use this pavement to ride their cycles, often aggressively, with little or no consideration for people (often carrying shopping), the children, or their dogs. There are signs up but these are not respected.
Similar to them frequently cycling on the pavements on Innage Lane. Sadly this is by adults, teens & parents encouraging their children. They keep going even when pedestrians, including the elderly, are trying to walk on the pavements often forcing them on to the road.
We have also repeatedly witnessed cyclists on the roads predominantly the High Street & Whitburn Street ignoring the one way system.

Still no response. This problem has yet again happened. Guessing that no one actually is interested, I’m guessing nothing will happen until someone or a dog being legally walked gets hurt...
A further reason to resent paying an absorbent amount to Shropshire County Council & the Police in Council Tax for nothing in return.
I notice most other complaints are also awaiting a response...

Hello is anyone actually reading the issues posted on here? Or it it once again another initiative to pretend to be interested in the public’s concerns and complaints, whilst the Council keep taking our money whilst actually doing nothing?
