  • The temporary lights appear to be ignored by some drivers;

    An elderly relative who uses a mobility scooter used them this afternoon. This is what should be the safest place to cross this road - they pressed the button, and the lights changed, and started to cross, when an approaching car did what seemed to be an emergency stop, instead of slowing and stopping in accordance with the red light! Then they shouted (it sounds like road rage occurred) at my relative. It sounded like they were in a hurry. Being scared at this incident, they didn't hang around to converse / potentially be abused.

    If there's some way to make these lights clearer, or that the crossing is there, to help ensure drivers are more aware, then this would be very helpful.

    Ideally, I think the permanent lights need to be fixed.

  • 6am, Tuesday 19th September.

    Lights appear to be stuck on red.

    This is all lights - for traffic & pedestrians.

    Traffic ended up ignoring the red lights & just drove through regardless.
