HARLESCOTT JUNIOUR SCHOOL are planning on opening an access gate from Craig Close

Reported via mobile in the Other Highways issue category anonymously at 12:34, Tue 15 August 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14120672.

The access gate is in a small close where there is limited place for the elderly residents to park. If the access is opened it will mean unlimited and unsafe parking around allerton road and claverly road in order for parents to access this gateway. There's is parking issues already with the number of vehicles that are owned by residents. This will inevitably be chaotic and unsafe for residents and people who wish to access this by parking on grass verges around the green and over driveways or blocking vehicles that need access to the road. The refuse collectors and delivery people struggle as do residents who live here.

  • I have had an email from the Executive Head confirming that the access from Craig Close for the school will not be opened. However in the future this could possibly change and the problems will still be the same
