Pedestrian crossing littered with decaying/growing weeds

Reported via desktop in the Other Highways issue category by Eileen Holmes at 20:04, Thu 10 August 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14120362.

Despite excellent resurfacing of Abbey Foregate and the entrance to Monkmoor Road the pedestrian island (see Pin) is an eyesore of growing weeds and debris clinging to the railings. To my knowledge the island has not been cleaned in the past two years: the debris continues to build up. It would greatly enhance the neighbourhood to have this area cleaned up.
