Dear Sir/Madam, We come to Shrewsbury several times a year to stay and visit Theatre Severn for opera, ballet, plays etc. Like many people we stay in the town and cross the roads by the Welsh Bridge (Mardol Quay) to get to the theatre. The junction there is very dangerous. Not only is there infrequent pedestrian crossing allowed, but the crossing time is very short before cars are coming round corners etc. My husband uses a stick and is slow and we never have enough time to cross. The infrequency means people are always chancing it, especially when they think it is clear and then traffic comes from an unexpected direction. I think you need to look at this and extend both the crossing duration and frequency. Thank you, Yours sincerely, Sue Dalton
