Deep 'puddle' created when it rains on Ellesmere Road / Hubert Way

Reported via desktop in the Standing water on the highway category anonymously at 19:41, Friday 17 March 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14109896.

When there is moderate rainfall (as on 09th & 16th March) the highlighted 'puddle' is created as the drains on Ellesmere Road are blocked (two shown).

The puddle is quite deep and would be a hazard for cyclists.

Anyone who walks on this stretch of the road is subject to being drenched by the collected water as the cars drive through it and the pavement becomes unsafe to walk on.

There is also a lot of surface water in general as it cannot drain away anywhere.
