Owners not cleaning up dogs off lead

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14109305.

Narrow lane have to go on bank to avoid farm vehicles and cars dog faeces all over the place. Nowhere to go.

  • I thought you should also know that the local farmer's livestock is also put at risk with dogs running loose and leaving faeces in fields. I gather cows can be caused to abort their young. I actually heard a mother tell her daughter it was ok to let the dog run loose and foul the lane and fields because it would disperse into the soil. I was going to say something but did not know what mother would do.

  • I have just been round block and more dog faeces on corner and down road for about two properties on footpath. I also walked down lane and there was still fouling and I noticed no signs on entrance to footpath on right and the path across orchard on left also did not have sign people still using field behind car park for dogs also. Perhaps a sign on wall in car park warning of dangers of dog fouling to other dogs and farm animals might get through to them q d reminder about poop bags. Thank you
