New Salt bin requested so we can grit the lane

We’ve requested a new salt bin to be installed a number of times (since 2019) at our location as the roads are impassable and the nearest salt bin is very far away. We’re on a steep hill which are treacherous in icy conditions and need to be gritted regularly in Winter. Please help!

  • We have looked into this issue and can advise that the work required will be completed in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

  • Received a telephone call and an email on 16 June to advise that the works would be carried out. The job has been closed but more than 3 months later and approaching colder weather this has still not been done. I’ve requested this several times since 2019.
