The entire road surface has deteriorated and contains several large potholes.

The road surface has totally broken up and has sunk at the edge. It is beyond a simple loose fill repair and requires extensive remediation. Traffic avoids the broken surface by going near to the bridge edge where the boundary fence has been broken - this is very dangerous and could result in a vehicle slipping into the brook. Some of the potholes are considered dangerous - they were spot filled before Christmas but the repair has not been successful and the situation is now considerably worse.
