Sign used for advertising

Reported via desktop in the Sign obscured category anonymously at 08:52, Thursday 9 February 2023

As always there are people useing your road signs to use as advertising boards.

As of today the "Give Way" sign on the road from Bridgnorth approaching Much Wenlock (Opposite a School), the A458, someone has attatched a sign. This states "Scotish Cashmere Sale". Surely a raod sign like this cannot be used for advertising?

Signs are quite often put up along the same grass area whenever someone wants to and I susspect illegally. There is also a congestion of signs on the same road (further down) opposite the fuel station. They are still advertising the sale of Christmas trees.

The extra road signs put up by hand make the area look tatty and uninviting.

Hopefully you can look into this and remove the unwanted signs.

Regards
