Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14106960.

There is an order with Shropshire Councils contractor to make repairs at this location

These need to be fixed as a matter of urgency - because the potholes are in a row they cumulatively affect steering making it hard to stay on course. I wonder if it is possible the reports of potholes on Pontesford bridge have been miss placed and these are the holes people are refering to. Difficult to be precise because driving but suspect a row of 10+ potholes in 4m, each over a foot wide and more than a couple of inches deep.

A section of A488 carriageway on the northbound lane near to Little Halston Farm entrance is dangerous as it very rough and potholed and this is worsened by it being on a bend It is very dangerous for motorcycles and also drivers who are aware of this do tend to try and avoid it by going out over the centre line which is also dangerous to oncoming vehicles . There was a attempt at a repair a few months ago but to be honest. all the contractor did was two small potholes about 300mm x 300mm which was a utter waste of money setting up all the traffic management for the pointless work that they did. I do know that as a ex Highway Manager for Shropshire Council that Shropshire Council have a duty of care to keep roads safe and Safety inspections should be carried out regularly and depending on the type of defect found and the class of road and that there are time limits for the repair to be carried out and on this section of road that is not the case.
