Blocked drain

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14106375.

The drain nearest the pelican crossing was overflowing during the recent floods and is pretty full of sludge. Ditto the next drain along, opposite The Samaritans building.

Much of the dirt comes from the accumulating leaves and mud around the supposedly temporary yellow 'road works-style' sign, advising of the closure of Wyle Cop. It's high time this tatty old sign was removed - it's been there for months; nobody takes a blind bit of notice of it, other than to avoid hitting it. What a scruffy welcome to our county town!

Why not create a digital version of it and place it on the digital sign, next to the Animal Trust building? Come on, guys, let's spring clean this stretch of road.
