Trees branches blocking street lights..
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14105435.
St Mary’s car park/ the tree next to the public toilets needs pruning back away from the street light. Their is quite a few street lights being blocked my tree branches.. they are the responsibility of the County Council.. and also the branches are coming down very low onto st Mary’s lane behind the tree.. and these need pruning away also. Please can you get this work done as it has already been reported on a number of occasions in the last year and needs to be done as as matter of public safety.. and their is also a problem with the one street light not working but they can’t get access to fix it because of the overgrown branches covering the street light.. please can this be looked into.. thank you

Branches still covering street lights

It’s been a month now since this was reported and the branches have not been removed from the street lights yet.. the street lights are in need of repair and the branches are stopping this from happening. Please can these be removed soon. On st Mary car park.

Still waiting for these to be cut away before the leaves start growing on the trees again and it becomes very very difficult to see. And as there is a step underneath the tree if someone has a fall it will be your fault. Thank you

It is despicable and disgusting that these trees haven’t been cut back away from the street lights yet. It is disgusting service by Shropshire county council. And they are nearly all back into leaf!! On st Mary’s carpark

Trees are now back in leaf so it’s getting increasingly dark now with the tree branches covering the street lights.. you have had 3 months to come and trim them away from the lights and nothing has been done as yet.. I am going to give it another 2 weeks and then I think I’m going to have to talk this issue higher and also contact my local council representative about this issue.

Well the light is now completely covered up now with leaf.. can’t see a thing now.. the branches need removal as soon as possible… it has been months since first reporting and this issue has still not been resolved… it is disappointing to say the least… other street lights are also being covered with trees and need removing from the lights in st Mary’s car park…

Okay so I take it that no action is going to be taken on these tress covering the street lights up on st Mary’s car park.. I will now talk to my local council official about this matter.. and I will be making a formal complaint
