Dog fouling a problem in St Martins

Reported via desktop in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 08:46, Friday 20 January 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14105261.

DOG FOULING: I feel I need to bring to your attention the vast amount of dog excrement around the village. Aside from irresponsible dog owners not picking up after their pets down the lanes, people are even allowing their dogs to defecate both inside and outside St Martins Church grounds where obviously the land is consecrated. We have just moved here from Wrexham where we thought it was bad but in the church grounds has really angered us. We have a dog and would never not pick up after him and wondered if there was anything the council can do. Obviously the signs alone are not working.
