Railings need removing

Reported via desktop in the Barrier pedestrian defective category anonymously at 08:15, Thursday 19 January 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14105128.

We had a breech of site security yesterday when an individual managed to get over our fence boundary and pinch a bike by throwing it over the fence, clearly this is a serious breach of safeguarding security to the school.

We have reported the incident to the police; however, we have noticed that the other side of our fence by the pedestrian entrance off Stanley Road is council railings which the male had used to get himself onto the school fence. Would it be possible to get these railing removed to avoid this from happening again, the railings are old ones which we presume were there prior to the school fencing going in.

Please can you advise. we are happy to get our site team to remove these railings with your permission, but they are on a pedestrian path.

Many thanks
