2 to 3 inches of mud on Pinkham Lane DY14 8QE -- starting at The Bungalow-- and then continuing for 200 metres -- has made road surface very dangerous

Reported via desktop in the Mud on the Highway category anonymously at 14:22, Monday 9 January 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14103927.

2 to 3 inches of mud on Pinkham Lane DY14 8QE -- starting at The Bungalow-- and then continuing for 200 metres -- has made road surface very dangerous. It also contains grit and other debris from failed pothole repairs. This was originally raised on 30/09/22 ref 14097231 with the pothole issue included, so the mud has no become an Urgent issue. Can you please have someone get the lane cleaned? Many thanks

  • The works in January on this lane have now become 'undone' . Regrettably the quality of the repairs was poor and now many of the pot holes have reappeared in recent weeks with a large amount of treacherous grit / tar debris on the highway. Please survey asap and then arrange a further repair session. Also parts of the lane have vegetation growth which is impeding pedestrian and vehicle movements. Please arrange for a trim back. Thanks
