Tree obscuring 40 mph advisery sign in a 60mph zone

Reported via mobile in the Sign obscured category anonymously at 09:00, Fri 23 December 2022

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14102719.

Hi, this advisory sign is pretty much ignored anyway, as my nephew who works at the Albright Hussey has been knocked off his bike twice due to unsafe drivers. My sister was very closely rear ended by a driver exceeding the 40 mph whilst taking her son to work recently too This advisory 40mph sign is no excuse for shropshire highways to be neglectful and allow for a tree to grow right in front of this very unsafe and bizzare advisory speed limit on a road which is a very strong candidate to be a life changer or a fatal collision area. Maybe it will take Shropshire Highways to have such a needless serious accienr or loss of life to enforce the speed restrictions of 40mph from the Ellesmere Road roundabout for the entire stretch of this quite narrow and winding section of road to out past Albrighton for safety especially around the turn off for Yew Tree Cottages and The Albright Hussey Hotel. Please give this serious consideration as lives are literally at stake.
