  • The section of road is barely passable in places without road users being forced into a pothole. In places 2 potholes are so close together that 1 is in line with each front tyre at the same time and, because the lane is so narrow, there is no way of avoiding them. Recent snow/rain has filled the holes making it difficult to establish how deep they are on approaching them, even for people who use the road on a regular basis and have some idea of where the hazards are. In addition to potholes of varying widths and depths, the surface is badly broken along this whole section of road causing a significant danger to walkers, horse riders, cyclists and drivers. Nothing has been done despite reports being submitted.
