Nothing has been done to the drains since the report on the 24th November, there is now, on the 31st December, a repeat of the same flood. This is an urgent matter, it is deep enough to be a hazard now, any deeper and properties will be at risk. Equally, if another heavy freeze, the ice will be a major hazard.

A road sweeper came round the village yesterday but no attempt was made to clear any of the blocked drains on this stretch of Bellaport Road. Surely this vehicle has the ability to suck out the drains or are you planning to send a team to manually dig them out? I originally reported this issue in November and have chased twice only to be told the job was allocated in November! I've since required 2 ambulances to attend for my 95 year old Mum which is far from ideal when the road constantly floods after heavy rainfall. Now would be an ideal time to clear the drains whilst you can see them.

I have taken a call from a resident that has advised that there are a total of 3 blocked drains causing the flooding. A contractor has arrived today that has only unblocked one of the drains. Can you please ask them to return while they are in the area to unblock the other two drains as they all contribute to the bad flooding on the road? Many thanks
