Reported via mobile in the Tree/Grass/Shrub Problem on a highway/verge category anonymously at 15:24, Sun 30 October 2022

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14098992.

A branch from a Silver birch tree is overhanging the alleyway. It smacks cyclists and pedestrians in the face.

  • It is in the Alleyway which is between Falcons Way and Mytton Oak Road. The alleyway is adjacent to the Pelican crossing

  • I am trying to locate the relevant department/body that addresses issues in alleyways on estates. I have reported a problem of vegetation/trees on Fix my street, weeks ago, but as it’s not an actual road it doesn’t come under that body. The issue is of beech trees ( one in particular) that has branches over hanging pathway now and is at head height. It is in the way of pedestrians and cyclists. I am sure that no one wants an insurance claim because someone’s been injured as a result of an accident due to this particular branch. Can you advise please.
