Road surface disintigrating and dangerous to pedestrian as well as vehicles
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway surface problem category anonymously at 15:52, Sun 25 September 2022
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14096911.
This part of the road is falling apart and needs urgent major repair. To the best of my knowledge it has not had any attention since well before 2013 when I moved here.

HELP! We desperately need attention here, on Station Road, Highley. The road surface under the railway bridge has deteriorated significantly since this was reported in September. The damage is severe across the full width of the road; my disabled friend cannot now get out from home on her mobility scooter. This is the ONLY access to our home (and many more properties) for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and motor vehicles. New photos attached. Thank you!

The path and surface of the road is dangerous, families need to use the path on a daily basis. When the roadside cottages flood the dirt and any excess animal droppings is flooding into the buildings. There are no barriers or flood defence measure in place along the river edge, other local councils who have taken notice of pleas and needs of their residents have put in place some health and safety measures. The riverside is covered in litter, it is dangerous to wildlife and surrounding farm animals, not only this, it looks dreadful and is a reflection of the county.
