My postcode (which I have checked with the post office is correct) takes sat nav users to a village 5 miles away

Sent to Shropshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 382937.

I had need to call out fire brigade who put my postcode into sat nav and were directed to Ryton village some five miles from my house. I could hear the fire engine and had to get in my car and go and find them. I'm not sure you can help with this problem by I am concerned that should I require other emergency services they will not find me as it seems to be the norm to use sat nav in all circumstances these days.
