Drain cover and road surface collapsing

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway pothole category anonymously at 20:27, Mon 22 August 2022

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14095161.

Large drain cover in carriageway is faulty and so the vibration is producing an ever growing pothole. One of many serious defects on this road but this is the worst. Needs to be replaced with new cover and vibration pad and surrounding area resurfaced. Do not use the tarmac sprayer. Needs a competent job.

  • Getting worse, has white paint surround but that's it. Severn Trent say it isn't theirs. Somebody needs to do something - Shropshire Council, will you fix a hazard on your road?
