Hi Shropshire Highways visited site and advised this was a STWA issue. STWA have attended site and reported that this is not their responsibility and Shropshire Highways need to deal with it. Can someone please advise on how best to rectify the dangerous excavation which has sunk further than when reported back in June

Hi, the operative that attended this morning carried out a temporary repair for safety as the depression was unsafe as reported. Can you confirm a permanent repair is to be scheduled to remove this issue.

Hi since your last update in March no further action has been taken to rectify the sunken carriageway. It is now deeper than when the Highways inspector applied a bag of cold lay tarmac and advised a permanent repair would be planned in. Can you confirm if a date is scheduled please.

Hi The temporary repair that was previously carried out on the sunken excavation has again failed and the material has spilled out once again leaving a potentially dangerous situation. We were told a permanent repair would be planned in but that has not happened as yet and the affected area is getting larger and needs attention. Many thanks

Hi Since you reopened this report in March 23 no further update from Shropshire Council has been received despite a further two reports on the sunken excavation as witnessed by some canvassing Labour Candidates last weekend. An update on a planned repair would be appreciated.

Hi Is it possible for an update on this report please The sunken excavation is now deeper and wider and causing vehicles to swerve to avoid it which is difficult when two cars are parked opposite each other. An update would be appreciated.
