150mm deep pothole in the carriageway o/s 39 Hotspur Street

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14091055.

A pothole has appeared outside number 39 Hotspur Street Greenfields in the carriageway. approx 1m x 1m and is currently about 100mm to 150mm at its deepest. Severn Trent had an excavation alongside where the pot hole has appeared. It has become much deeper over the last couple of weeks and is now dangerous particularly at night time.

  • Hi Shropshire Highways visited site and advised this was a STWA issue. STWA have attended site and reported that this is not their responsibility and Shropshire Highways need to deal with it. Can someone please advise on how best to rectify the dangerous excavation which has sunk further than when reported back in June

  • Hi, the operative that attended this morning carried out a temporary repair for safety as the depression was unsafe as reported. Can you confirm a permanent repair is to be scheduled to remove this issue.
