Trees overgrown and out of control

Reported via desktop in the Encroachment of the Highways by Trees or Shrubs category anonymously at 20:16, Sun 12 June 2022

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14090726.

Row of trees dividing public footpath and residents car park next to 36 Coleridge Drive. Trees are too tall and wide. Access to and from car park is causing cars to be scratched. Visibility from car park passes over a much used foot path. Visibility is impeded and dangerous. Height of trees is blocking light into property, and there are concerns regards damage to drains and foundations.

  • Nothing has been done, no information regards schedule of work etc. With school holidays now in full swing this footpath is now used to access 'Green' space and play areas. Will you please cut/tidy/top these trees as a case of urgency before an accident happens. Others have asked for maintenance of these trees, not just me! Please can you take action.
