Street nameplate broken/missing
Reported via desktop in the Street name plate problem category anonymously at 13:47, Thu 12 May 2022
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14089045.
The owner of the building currently occupied by Windology on Bridgnorth Road, by the Gaskell Corner in Much Wenlock, called me to urge a repair/replacement of the broken sign on the edge of her property. This was a ‘Bridgnorth Road’ sign, which has been broken for some time. The nameplate has gone and only two leaning and rusting upright posts remain. I have attached photos showing the posts and location. Could you arrange to have these removed or, ideally, the sign replaced as they are unsightly and hazardous and, of course, not doing the job they were designed for. I’d appreciate an indication of when (if) these can be dealt with so that I can pass that information on to the building owner.
