Dangerous potholes

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14085614.

The road that goes from Neenton to Wrickton is covered with potholes, 2 tyres blown within the last 2 weeks due to potholes. The road also floods so potholes fill with water so don't know where they are when it rains. This road needs sorting ASAP as dangerous.

  • We have looked into the issue and can advise that the work required is included within the programme of our upcoming maintenance and will be carried out within the appropriate timescale.

  • Hello - i drove down the lane today and one pothole out of about 15 has been filled in - no sign of any workmen or any other work being done. Can you please confirm this hasn't been closed off yet as the work has not been done and the irony is they have filled in one of the potholes that is no where near as bad as others :-(
