Abandon Car

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14076343.

The car has been abandoned/left by Greek neighbours who were renting a house in our road, who appear to have vacated their property, maybe returned to Greece. The car is parked near to the entrance to our road, parked half on the pavement obstructing a neighbours back gate. In addition for the last 3 nights the car alarm has been going on and off around midnight, causing a disturbance. I called the police today to inform them and to ask for advice and they advised me that the car isn't taxed and has been "scrapped" and to advise Shropshire Council so they can remove the car.   • I live in Herongate at Carling Close. We have a car that has been abandoned on the corner for over a year. Despite numerous conversations with the police, DVLA and the council the car is still here. We believe the owners have moved on. The car is not taxed and neither does it have any insurance or MOT, it is an obstruction and a hazard to other road users as it is right on a corner. The post code is SY1 3RT
