Deep pothole on Crown Lane

This is one of many potholes, ridges and uneven surface on Crown Lane from the A458 side at the bottom of Shore Lane, right the way up to where it joins Shore Lane again. It's been some time since yellow lines were painted on some of the holes but no action has yet been taken. No work has been done here for over 18 months on what is a public highway maintained by Shropshire Council.

    Still there - and getting worse

  • We understand this issue has been resolved so this enquiry will now be closed.

    The road will continue to be regularly inspected. Any defects found to be above the action threshold will be prioritised for repair as per our policy.
