Additional damage, Litley Bridge

Litley bridge parapet has been hit by a large vehicle, again, in the last couple of days causing significant additional damage and debris in road. A large number of the surface stones have been knocked out and the coping stones been displaced and are close to being lost into the stream. This is at least the third time the bridge has been hit and damaged since it was last repaired (2025?), and it has been repaired for similar damage at least twice in the last 7 years. This appears to be a persistent problem which deserves a more creative solution than just restoring the parapet to its previous condition, otherwise there is a high risk that the repaired bridge will simply be damaged again. The last repair lasted less than 4 weeks!
